VIDEO REVIEW WITH THE GIRL RUNNING AROUND WITH THE CAPE
In all honesty i found what little i watched of the other videos to be vastly inferior to this one. Even though i also saw very little of this video, i could already tell it was not bad. What stood out to me was the cinematography of this piece. The transitions in between scenes and cuts were well done as well camera position choices. This showed that either these girls spent the necessary amount of time the project actually called for(which was quite hefty), or it could have been the fact that they were proficient in their movie making skills. Along with the transitions was the excellent sound. The music selection may have been questionable but it did flow with the scenes and did not overpower the dialogue. I unfortunately did not see enough to critique the dialogue or the context of it but i did manage to notice that the actresses put fourth much effort in acting and emotion to the script. For the negatives of this piece, the first thing was the shaky lighting of the video. Along with the good camera angles unfortunately came some rough spots in finding good lighting. Much of what i saw had too much shadow to it and i am afraid it cut down some of the scenes. The last bad, which is irrelevant because i could not think of another, was that i was unable to see a suitable amount of this video. The bad in this comes as you read this review and notice the incompleteness of it. This movie gets an A for effort and 3 out of 4 stars.
REVIEW OF THAT MILLENNIUM SHOW
Yes you do see it, i did manage to spell millennium correctly. If not the obnoxious opening scene of four young adults making fools out of themselves, you first notice the complete botching of the word millennium in one individual's most valiant effort in spelling the word. I did have the pleasure of viewing this piece in its entirety and therefore have the capability of writing a sufficient review of it. Like i said, the movie opens with four descent-looking adolescents(back-left seat in particular), that appear to be enjoying themselves in a nice car with blaring music. This scene does a great job in setting the tone for the rest of the movie, which ended up being a stupidly- funny and pretty pointless piece of work. But i do give them credit as they do their best in trying to imitate a show in cable TV these days called That 70's Show. What i did notice in this attempt was the nice swiveling action of the infamous circle scenes. How they did it remains a mystery as does the writing of the script. The dialogue, although quite funny at times, was slightly on the inappropriate side. Despite this, they did manage to keep it at least PG-13, which is, in my opinion, a perfect level if only a high-school audience were watching it. As for the acting, i do believe non-native young man trying his best to follow the role of Horhay(Fez in That 70's Show) stole the show with his natural accent and goofy way of carrying himself. If i had to make an educated guess, i would say he is from Albania. Thumbs up to this guy he did very well, as did the rest of this cast when all was said and done. The video appeared to be a bit rushed and thrown together, but i could tell that these boys had a great time in the making of it and they did put fourth a good amount of effort in the making of it. I know that if i were given the opportunity to do something like this, i would not make the mistake of doing it late but if i so managed to do that, i would still enjoy the making of it and the effort put into it. Also an A for effort with these boys and a modest 3 out of 4 stars.

mykrofone
First of all, i dont think i would ever carry around a microphone for a day and ask people questions. I would feel like too much of a an ass. But if for some crazy reason i decided to do that (which now that i think about it that would be kinda funny) i think i would go all out in what i asked people. For a warm-up, i would start be asking people how their day is going. Then as the day progresses, i would ask people what they would do if they knew it was their last day to live. to be continued because i have to work on the script.

tennis
-A little update on how the tennis season in going so far for all those who actually care-
I am happy to say that this season of tennis is going fairly smoothly. Our record as a team up to this point is 4 and 1. That means we have four wins and one loss. My position on the team is on the number one doubles squad. My partner is Mr. Casey Johnson. For us in number one doubles, we got off to a good start with a record of 3 and 0. But the past two matches have spelled trouble for us adding two losses to our record. The first loss came to the duo at Salem High School. I really do not think it could have been closer which only added to the pain of that loss. For those who know tennis, the scores of the sets were 4-6, 6-4, 5-7. Each set was determined by one break in service when all was said and done. Unfortunately, yesterday was a different story as we were quite sufficiently pummeled by Northville high school. This was the first loss to our team as a whole and a beating against Casey and I. We lost that match by scores of 1-6 and 1-6. That quite simply means they took six games in each set to our one. It was not good. But i look forward to today's match as we take on Canton, another tough foe that i hope to take avenge against for the past two losses handed to Casey and I. If i can manage to remember, i will put fourth effort in posting the result of this contest this afternoon.

Endangered Species: The Woodland Caribou
After just recently visiting the wondrous environment of British Columbia, it has not only fascinated me but also opened my awareness that places like British Columbia are thinning around the world. Along with the mountains, abundant trees, and flowing streams is the wildlife. I was fortunate to come across one individual of the wildlife there. It happened to be a woodland Caribou.
The woodland Caribou is a particularly large mammal that stay in small groups and don’t migrate too long of distances. A typical male weighs in at 270 kg and the average female weighs 115 kg. They are found in the western provinces of Canada and also in Ontario along foothills, mountain parks, and eastern slopes

goals and memories
The most simple and obvious goal for myself in the remaining time of this school year and high school all together is to graduate with respectable grades this last semester as i have dug quite a hole for myself as far as grades go. But moreover, i would like to complete this high school experience with fun and a respectable ending despite my previous actions. To me, this is to be made possible by keeping up my efforts in tennis, raising back up my efforts in schoolwork, and maintaining relationships with friends. I believe that the tennis aspect would perhaps be the easiest as i find it easy to keep myself motivated in sport-related activities. What i would like to get out of this i have learned in sports about practice and motivation would be to carry this over to my studies in college and so on in life. That brings me to the next goal of effort level in schoolwork. Now that i think about it, this is pretty crucial in making for a healthy and successful transition into college. Lastly is the friends goal. It is fairly easy to keep ties now as my friends and I are still living close by and going to the same school. But i think that maintaining these ties in the next 4 years and so on will be rather difficult. If i can be somewhat successful in these goals i think that lasting memories of high school will be with me for a long time afterwards.

...
i screwed up. i did. i guess i let my state of that senioritus thing go a little bit too far. scratch that, i am not pawning this off on senioritus it was just a serious lack of judgement. the event was a simple leaving of class before the bell had rung. very dumb. i now realize how selfish that was as i was only considering how lazy i had felt at the time rather than the reprecussions of the act on those of this class. even after ms. eastman had explained only a half hour ago that she was being plagued by disrespect and misbehavior, i still decided to ditch class for a little half hour less of school. stupid. i am not trying to justify this act in any way, but in that determined state of mind to leave school i think that i would have left regardless of the class and/or teacher. i have only now added to the stress of ms. eastman as others do that decide to act out of line. i now have contributed to what caused this precarious classroom environment where strict rules and regulations are now implemented to deter fellow idiots as myself from unacceptable behavior. there are many in this sixth hour that now have to deal with these consequences brought upon them that do not deserve it. what i should do right now is get up in the middle of this class and not only apologize to ms. eastman but also to my fellow classmates for carrying out such behavior. i really should. i wish i could.

spring break
So break is only a few days away. I can't remember ever looking forward to a break this much as i have over this past year. First of all, senior spring break signifies pretty much the end of school as there is only about a month left of school after the break. But that is definately not the only thing spring break is all about. Me and a few of my buddies this year are going to Whistler over break to do some spring skiing. This place is located in west coast Canada in British Columbia right above Vancouver. It can simply be described as the mecca of skiing and snowboarding in North America. This area spread over two mountain peaks has over 8,000 acres of skiing terrain and rises a mile into the sky. In addition to the impeccable skiing, it consistently ranks among the top of all ski resorts as voted by readers of ski magazine as having great night life. That of course played a major role in our decision of choosing this place for spring break. I will post a future blog to let those interested know how the trip went.

senioritus(i may have already written about this)
This topic of senioritus is definately not a new thing, especially to me. It seems as though ever since getting my highest gpa this last semster and then finally recieving the acceptance letter from my college of choice, i have lost all motivation to do any sort of homework and sometimes classwork. As bad as it sounds, which it is because i had just recieved two C's on this past report card, i have still managed to stay above a reasonable gpa. I have sort of put myself behind the eight ball here as i now have to do fairly descent on the next marking period. This in fact works to my advantage because i do work better and produce better results under a bit of pressure and stress. Nevertheless it is imperative that i find some way out of this widespread disease for my own sake and not just because i need better grades for my final semester of high school. I do realize that it is not enough to say that i will not continue this laziness and lackage of working into college. The fact is that it will not be that easy to just buckle down after not working hard at this point in time. This just means that i have to show that i can dig up that school mentality so that i can finish high school with a little bit of dignity and get a good rolling start into college. I hope it works.

old people movie
Elderly life can be quite an adventure compared to other times in one’s life. “On Golden Pond,” depicts this in quite an interesting way. At first thought I would probably pass up an opportunity to watch a movie about old people as it does not catch my attention in a particularly interesting way. But after watching this movie, I may rethink my passing up of another old person movie because “On Golden Pond” was not bad. One of the first key events came when Norman goes out for a leisurely stroll to find some berries in the woods. Despite being fairly familiar woods for Norman, he is this time frightened and finds himself in a somewhat perilous situation because he is frightened by a scary-looking tree. A little while later Norman and his wife Ethel’s daughter comes to visit with a new boyfriend and his son Billy Ray Jr. This is the first scene that demonstrates Norman and Chelsea’s difficulties with their relationship. Unfortunately, Billy Ray Jr. gets stuck with Chelsea’s parents for a little while and must overcome their views and huge age gap. One way this is done is through fishing. Norman seemed to be an avid fisher and allows for Billy to join him on several occasions to share the experience. Billy overcomes his skeptics of the old folk through these fishing outings and just enjoying himself out on Norman and Ethel’s lakefront. But on one fishing occasion, Norman and Billy, now quite the fishing and friendly duo, get into a little bit of trouble in a tricky rock-littered cove as they crash the boat and are left stranded on a rock. Ethel’s insights allow for a rescue of the two and no harm is done to either. The film concludes as Chelsea, now a married daughter, comes back to retrieve her husbands son. Simultaneously, she and Norman begin the repair of their relationship. Chelsea and Billy leave both pretty content with their interaction with Norman and Ethel. Finally, Norman suffers what appeared to be a mild heart attack when carrying too many dishes. Despite this, he comforts Ethel with his wits and humor once he recovers.
dont get it
today is march 21, 2007, the first day of spring. Im going to get to the point of this blog and say that i dont understand how girls can already be so intensly thinking about prom. Already having a limo lined up, the dress, the date. It is all a bunch of nonsense to me. I went last year and didnt know that i was going until the last second and had a lot of fun. I got my tux on time, the corsage, bla bla all at the last second. ANd guess waht?? i still had a solid fun time. So my other point here is that people should not worry so early about prom because i think that creates much unecessary stress.
winterbells part two.. dun dun dun
This game is so good that i decided is deserved a part two write-up. So the other day in class, this class, i found that i had some leisure time and decided to play winterbells. I was concentrating really hard the first few rounds and couldn' t manage to get an acceptable score. I really wanted the one upon a time sought after B-club. The B-club was an exclusive club only for those players of this genius game who can attain a score in the billion range. The reason for my scores not being good was due to the fact of distractions by the name of mr. max and the mark kerney. It seemed as though they could not help but be jealous at the fact that i was better than them at this game and they would not stop throwing stuff at me. But all of a sudden, there came a time in this day in this class that day when i had a moment to myself and this game. It did indeed happen. I was the first in this class to get into the B-club. The twist in this comes as max and colin decided to start their own club- the T-club only a day after the start of my B-club. Tisk tisk. Then colin goes and decides to make up his own number and gets like a quadtrillion or something. looks like i have some work to do.
blogging
I sit here like most of all the other people in this class and i am frantically trying update this blog. This is one of two blogs that o would personally count as bs blogs. So with that being said, even after i complete these blogs, i will post some make-up blogs to make up for these empty blogs.

quotes on board
"sometimes when you win you lose."
"thought is real. its the physical that's the illusion."
"whats true in our minds is true."
The first thing that i noticed was what all of these quotes have in common. At my first glance, it is apparent that these quotes stress the importance of the individual's perception and they are good ideas that one can reflect on after significant situations. If i were to think upon these quotes after times of maybe ending a relationship or defending something important to me when everyone else seems to be against it, i think i would be way more enlightened with myself.
Now for an example of the three quotes in my eyes. Take a religious thought for an example for the third one listed. There are many people with religious beliefs that may not hold true for other people. So what is in their minds about their religions is true for them. and game over because i cant work anymore

winterbells
I sit here and i now boast that i am proud to say that perhaps 60% of my previous school time spent has been playing this semi-new game called winter bells. One would describe it as a new version of the retro middle school game called Icy Tower. I would not. I describe it as probably the most innovative yet simple free Internet game of the year. This game is so good, that it deserves to be compared to those other great games such as ELMA and SNOOD. The game consists of a sweet little bunny rabbit and some bells. The object of the game is to take this rabbit, which follows the movement of your mouse like its a customized cursor, and have the little guy jump on bells. The bells go up into infinite space in randomized patterns and propel the rabbit with a consistent jump each time so that you can either jump every other bell or just jump single bells. Along the mighty trip up the infinite bells, you will come across birds. These aren't just any old flying creatures; these birds are special birds that present a little bit more difficulty as they move laterally across the screen unlike the bells. But better yet, if you manage to land your little rabbit on these birds, they will double your score each time. This is perhaps the whole object of the game which is to make your way up and land on as many birds as possible. What a game huh? I mean how could something so simple and elementary be so gratifying and pleasurable? But shame on me for neglecting to mention the very best part of this gaming experience. Along with the amazing game play, this game comes with a one-song soundtrack. Unlike the game, i just cannot put into words how amazingly soothing and brilliant this song/ music is. It is almost half the game and whomever is reading this should go to google, type in winterbells, click the first choice, and get ready to have one big ball!

book commercial
I saw a commercial yesterday and i thought it was a fairly descent one. It was sort of a paid political announcement type commercial(not really) and contained an interesting analogy which was pretty much the entire commercial. It simply stated that reading books is like exercise for the mind. In my writing about this, it obviously shows the impact or success of this commercial in getting its point across. If you really think about the analogy or whatever it is called, statement, it really is a clever one. This got me to realize that as much as i keep my body in top shape that i should also be doing that for my brain. I sadly realize that will most likely not happen in the near future because i havn't the motivation for doing so. But hopefully at some time my mind will be adequately exercised by means other than the previous assigned books in school.

Awakenings movie that i accidentaly watched yesterday
Awakenings could have been perhaps one of the most moving cinematic stories that I have seen to date. The fact that it was based on a true story makes it even more fascinating and extraordinary. Robin Williams plays Dr. Sayer whom is given the task of working with patients in a comatose state. He finds himself disturbed by these patients and the fact that they have been unaware of what has been going on around them for the past few decades. Just as he is about to conclude that there is little to nothing he can do for these lifeless patients, he discovers that there is still something burning inside each of these patients. The patients are able to catch almost anything thrown at them such as Lucy’s glasses and various types of balls. Then Dr. Sayer does some background checks on these patients and finds that they are all victims of encephalitis. He is eventually given the ok to prescribe a new drug to these patients to hopefully cure them. Leonard is the first to become “awakened” by this medication. Then all of the other patients miraculously follow suit and come to life. Leonard in particular, is studied by Sayer upon his awakening through such events such as his realization that he has missed the past 30 years of his life. Leonard and Dr. Sayer quickly form a bond between each other. The miracle comes to a distressing downward spiral as Leonard begins to experience negative side effects of the drug. Despite this, Sayer continues to increase the amounts of the drug until he realizes that it has little effect on the patients no longer. Sadly, Leonard, Lucy, and all of the other patients slip back into their comatose states and never again experience the types of awakenings as they did in that year(’69).

a weird dream with a previous teacher that i dislike
It seems as though it was 9 o’clock at night as I’m approaching Mrs. S's math class in the yellow pod. I must be five minutes late but she is letting me into class. I walk into the room baffled as I’m accustomed to her being her usual self and sweeping people who are less than half a second late to her class. The room seems very bright and for that previous few seconds everything was wavy and bright- my vision is blurry. Now the blurriness stops and the desks are huge as Mrs. S, again out of her usual character, decides to have a party in her classroom. She is pulling out some “beverages” and…
The dream ends as abruptly as it started. Right after I wake I realize there was no auditory element to the dream. I am baffled as to why I dreamt of Mrs. S as she is one of those teachers I would prefer to forget about.

back: skiing states
It may be an understatement to say that its been a little while since i have last blogged. One may imply that the lack of blogging may seriously impair writing skill. I hope that is not the case as i now begin to fire back up the writing.
First off, my main excuse for not blogging would be this past break from school. On top of that, it was my final skiing state finals up north and in computer exile for the past week. I just recently returned home from Marquette all the way up in the U.P. But i first began the week once again getting sick with another unexplainable cold. It seems as though my immune system is flawed as i extract every new virus or cold that comes around. Despite this, i still made time to train and ski as much as my body would allow for. This goes to say that i hardly did anything but ski and sleep off the stupid cold. Fast forwarding to last Sunday, my dad, brother, and i got up early to drive the rest of the way up to Marquette from our condo in Petoskey. I had imagined a more boring drive but this one did not turn out so. For the parts that i was awake, i got to see the natural landscape accompanied by the many small towns of the Upper Peninsula. Three and a half hours later we were in the small , somewhat of a college town of Marquette.
We soon met up with all the rest of our ski team up for states later that night after training. Excitement and anticipation filled us but was soon overlayed by the antics of the night thanks to some ski team alumni that decided to show up at our hotel.
Shortly thereafter came the state competition which was just yesterday. Our ski team was among the other eight that made it and seriously under-skilled in skiing the bigger hills. Needless to say we finished second-to-last in the competition. I still maintain, although, that we had quite the successful season in making it so far.

poem
Oh how badly did i want this season to come
Had it lost its way?
The warmth for some time had won
Soccer in December i watched them play
Snowplows and saltrucks awaiting
As the swans bathe in the unfrozen lake
Little kids in the street are roller skating!
The poor ski hills, snow they cannot make
Then the cold, coming soon in the distance
The excitement and anticipation!
I began my infamous snow dance
El Nino had overstayed its vacation
My lake is now finally frozen
Had it lost its way?
The warmth for some time had won
Soccer in December i watched them play
Snowplows and saltrucks awaiting
As the swans bathe in the unfrozen lake
Little kids in the street are roller skating!
The poor ski hills, snow they cannot make

Skiing and hockey can now be chosen

anticipation
Today's date is February 13, 2007. It is currently 1 pm as i am trying to check weather.com for the latest and greatest in weather forecasting. In case those of you who are reading this are out of the loop, there is supposed to be a good amount of snow coming our way! I am not entirely sure how much as of now but last i heard, we were supposed to get between 6-8 inches when all is said and done. Besides from my not being able to check weather.com right now, the real dilemma here is whether or not Walled Lake Central of the the Walled Lake Consolidated school district will have a snow day tomorrow.
Attempt number two is under way right now for checking the current status on this weather. I can't stand this internet right now because it has decided to be very slow right now. Here we go. This just in! The most current forecast from weather.com states that we are set to receive less than one inch of snow through today and then it will proceed to dump a mere 4-6 inches. Tisk. That is down from a supposed 2-4 today and then another 6 or more tonight. Sadly, my pessimistic side is beginning to take over and i am beginning to ponder the possibilities of not having a snow day tomorrow. Or maybe this is just perhaps a defense mechanism that i have unconsciously set upon my mind to relieve the future disappointment of seeing that just about every other school district will have a snow day but ours as i am scrambling to leave for school on time tomorrow morning. I regret to say that my time here is done and the preceeding sentence is most likely a run-on but i will not notice because i have yet to get into the habit of proof-reading my writing.

story continued(see below)
Cory's firefly-lit lights would flicker with every crash of lightning and the hole would tremble. He was very concerned about getting electrocuted but then rembered the water-proof and shock resistant liner that he had installed around his hole a while back. Still, he did not feel completely safe. Suddenly, through his back underground door, winnie the worm came to bear a visit. Winnie needed to find refuge from the soon to be waterlogged grounds from the rain. Cory was anything but unhappy about this but Winnie unfortunately, had some bad news to deliver. Mack the mosquito acquired HIV and was no longer able to test American Red Cross blood anymore. This meant that he could no longer pay rent... uh oh

cold weather weekend
Who knew that this arctic blast would in the end bring us the such fortune of getting some long-awaited snow days. Cold days as they are referred to now. It was just too bad that it was so cold out that it was near impossible to go out and play some pond hockey or rev up the snowmobiles. But in the end, it was a very nice four-day weekend which began for me driving up north mid-day on Friday.
I was off, heading down my extremely short driveway with a mental checklist of what i could have potentially forgotten running through my head. This was too much thinking on my part so i gave up on the checklist and my brother and i were finally out of the driveway. The first two hours of driving up I-75 could not have been any more boring. It was the first time i had sleep prying into my mind trying to veer me off the road every two minutes. To cure my newly acquired narcolepsy, i pulled over and bought some David's Sunflower Seeds so that i could keep myself busy as i drove through the plains of Michigan.
About a half hour later and half of a waterbottle full of sunflower seed shells, the drive got fairl intersting. Before i knew it, i was approaching a giant white squall going about 80 mph. The road suddenly turned white as did everything around us. These whiteouts as they are called accompanied us throughout the rest of the drive up turning a normally 4 hour drive into a agonizing near 5 hour drive.

open letter
An open letter
To those of you
Commonly known as tailgaters
January 30, 2007
Tailgaters,
This letter is to you people. You people who always seem to need to get somewhere faster than the rest of the world. You are like haunting shadow, and entity, that stalks me days on end with no remorse. Your ugly scowl mirrors my hate and annoyance for you. I see you from behind and would love no more than for you to fall from the nearest skyscraper around you. The world would most likely thrive and perhaps achieve its utmost goal also shared by the views of many beauty pageant contestants of attaining world peace if you were to just never again be allowed to share the many roads and highways. You are tailgaters.
What right do you have to drive so closely to me even as I am already pushing the speed limit by about five or so over? You people certainly must not be aware the dangers involved in your driving conduct as you increase your probability of an accident tenfold. Better yet, myself or any other pissed off victim of your tailgating could at any time slam on our nice anti-lock brakes causing a nice accident in your fault. The least you could do is grow some balls and pass these slow drivers you ever so commonly come across. Even if you do manage to pass, what happens next? Time after time you will just sit at that red light I come upon a couple of seconds after you do or end up behind the next driver of insufficient speed for your needs not even 100 yards down the road.
I consider myself a new driver as I have only been on the open road for a little over a year and a half now. Despite this, I am taken aback by what extreme dislike I have already built up for you and your fellow devils of the driving world. You are like that one mosquito on a hot summer day that manages to find its way into my ear again and again with that unbearable buzzing sound of yours. You are like the smell of an old math teacher’s breath at 8 a.m. as he lingers over you checking your homework. If you tailgaters were a taste, you would be something along the lines of a vomit-flavored Popsicle. I would rather go outside right now and roll around in the snow for twenty minutes and then proceed to jump into a hot-tub to feel that infamous pins-and-needles sensation than to be harassed by your obnoxious driving. And finally, I would walk in on my parents before having to see your good-for-nothing figure in my rear view mirror again.
Sincerely,
Mike Rivamonte

story
It was a dark and stormy night. All the world seemed to be crashing down as the rain hit Cory's house. It was not your average run-of-the-mill house here. No. It was a dragonfly house; Cory was a dragonfly and it was raining on his house. Cory got lucky when it came to finding a home for himself. While most of his dragonfly friends spent long and sweaty dragonfly hours meticulously constructing their dragonfly houses out of sticks, leaves, perhaps a few acorns shaped into furniture, and some nice humus lining the floor surface, Cory happened to stumble upon a vacant trap-door spider residence. Cory was a middle-aged, single dragonfly who lived with his roommate Mack, who was a mosquito. Mack the mosquito was off on business testing blood for American Red Cross so Cory was unfortunately all alone in this dark and stormy setting.

dilemma
I am now clear through the first half of my senior year and i am currently fully delved into the season of ski team. Out of my three high school sports, i would have to say that skiing is not only my favorite, but also my forte if you will. I am not going to sit here and "blog" about how much i like skiing because that would not be very interesting (but any way i look at it this blog will not turn out interesting). Along with skiing, i am also playing on a co-ed indoor soccer team, which is pretty good time. Unfortunately by participating on this soccer team, it forces me to miss a day of ski practice or perhaps a meet every week. My position on this is that i feel it is completely necessary to skip the ski practice and play on this team not only because it is good to change up the routine and get back to my soccer roots, but also because i dont see it as a big deal to skip one practice a week. In other words, my guilty conscience is not very strong which enables me to take skipping practice so lightly. But this week's skipping of ski practice would also mean skipping team pictures. Aside from the threats of my coach that i could be kicked off and me not taking that seriously, i now realize that i am a returning captain of the boys team. Not having the captian in the photo could actually become a big deal. Not only could i lose this position of captain, but what message does this send to those coming back to the ski team or thinking about joining?
"The captain was not there for pictures so i think im just gunna skip a few practices now"
I can see it now, one after another will think lightly of this ski team as i do/did. The guilty conscience i thought was so weak is now coming back to me at this very moment. As the end of school approaches, so does this decision i will have to make as to whether or not i am going to i am going to be selfish or just show up to the team pictures. A follow up blog will come tomorrow as to how this dilemma turns out.

the world
the technological world vs. the old simplistic world
Our world has endured many different times in its current span. First there were the many pioneer microorganisms that began the life on earth. Skipping ahead came the dinosaurs whom were unfortunately ended by an ice age. Then much later came human existance. An easy separation of the times of mankind would be today's world of technolgy and yesterday's world of a simplistic living such as candle-lit meals and horse-drawn carriages. If one were to peruse the streets and ask people which world they thought was superior, most would probably say today's world would take the cake. But into deeper thought, is this really the right answer?

je suis
I am an orange
Difficult to peel
A thick exterior
Once inside i am surprisingly refreshing
If nothing else, a pleasant smell from peeling in the end
I am wind
Eery at times
My force reflects my determination
I am green
Green in itself holds the future before me
I am a banana
Well-rounded yet not fully ripened
Bananas are a lot like Twinkies
I am tired
A feeling that blankets every second in school
Maybe i should get more sleep
I am a couch
Comfortable but lazy

a blog
I guess i will proceed to write about the class activity we just did in my sixth hour creative writing class since i really can't think of much else to write about. The activity was a familiar one as i am pretty sure i have done it multiple times before. True colors is the name of this activity. It attemps to funnel personalities into four set personalities identified by colors and general traits about a person. I personally did not find this system to be competant in getting myself right, but this was not the case based on the various comments of my fellow classmates. My ultimate color was green but i was too closely followed by gold being only one point off and orange which was one off from gold. I think in order for the true colors system to have reliability in what it measures, it should have a defining color in all cases. This of course is my opinion and it differ from the results of others.
