anticipation

Today's date is February 13, 2007. It is currently 1 pm as i am trying to check weather.com for the latest and greatest in weather forecasting. In case those of you who are reading this are out of the loop, there is supposed to be a good amount of snow coming our way! I am not entirely sure how much as of now but last i heard, we were supposed to get between 6-8 inches when all is said and done. Besides from my not being able to check weather.com right now, the real dilemma here is whether or not Walled Lake Central of the the Walled Lake Consolidated school district will have a snow day tomorrow.
Attempt number two is under way right now for checking the current status on this weather. I can't stand this internet right now because it has decided to be very slow right now. Here we go. This just in! The most current forecast from weather.com states that we are set to receive less than one inch of snow through today and then it will proceed to dump a mere 4-6 inches. Tisk. That is down from a supposed 2-4 today and then another 6 or more tonight. Sadly, my pessimistic side is beginning to take over and i am beginning to ponder the possibilities of not having a snow day tomorrow. Or maybe this is just perhaps a defense mechanism that i have unconsciously set upon my mind to relieve the future disappointment of seeing that just about every other school district will have a snow day but ours as i am scrambling to leave for school on time tomorrow morning. I regret to say that my time here is done and the preceeding sentence is most likely a run-on but i will not notice because i have yet to get into the habit of proof-reading my writing.
