FINAL (sry its late my house had electrical problems and i was too dumb to do it last night)

VIDEO REVIEW WITH THE GIRL RUNNING AROUND WITH THE CAPE

In all honesty i found what little i watched of the other videos to be vastly inferior to this one. Even though i also saw very little of this video, i could already tell it was not bad. What stood out to me was the cinematography of this piece. The transitions in between scenes and cuts were well done as well camera position choices. This showed that either these girls spent the necessary amount of time the project actually called for(which was quite hefty), or it could have been the fact that they were proficient in their movie making skills. Along with the transitions was the excellent sound. The music selection may have been questionable but it did flow with the scenes and did not overpower the dialogue. I unfortunately did not see enough to critique the dialogue or the context of it but i did manage to notice that the actresses put fourth much effort in acting and emotion to the script. For the negatives of this piece, the first thing was the shaky lighting of the video. Along with the good camera angles unfortunately came some rough spots in finding good lighting. Much of what i saw had too much shadow to it and i am afraid it cut down some of the scenes. The last bad, which is irrelevant because i could not think of another, was that i was unable to see a suitable amount of this video. The bad in this comes as you read this review and notice the incompleteness of it. This movie gets an A for effort and 3 out of 4 stars.

REVIEW OF THAT MILLENNIUM SHOW
Yes you do see it, i did manage to spell millennium correctly. If not the obnoxious opening scene of four young adults making fools out of themselves, you first notice the complete botching of the word millennium in one individual's most valiant effort in spelling the word. I did have the pleasure of viewing this piece in its entirety and therefore have the capability of writing a sufficient review of it. Like i said, the movie opens with four descent-looking adolescents(back-left seat in particular), that appear to be enjoying themselves in a nice car with blaring music. This scene does a great job in setting the tone for the rest of the movie, which ended up being a stupidly- funny and pretty pointless piece of work. But i do give them credit as they do their best in trying to imitate a show in cable TV these days called That 70's Show. What i did notice in this attempt was the nice swiveling action of the infamous circle scenes. How they did it remains a mystery as does the writing of the script. The dialogue, although quite funny at times, was slightly on the inappropriate side. Despite this, they did manage to keep it at least PG-13, which is, in my opinion, a perfect level if only a high-school audience were watching it. As for the acting, i do believe non-native young man trying his best to follow the role of Horhay(Fez in That 70's Show) stole the show with his natural accent and goofy way of carrying himself. If i had to make an educated guess, i would say he is from Albania. Thumbs up to this guy he did very well, as did the rest of this cast when all was said and done. The video appeared to be a bit rushed and thrown together, but i could tell that these boys had a great time in the making of it and they did put fourth a good amount of effort in the making of it. I know that if i were given the opportunity to do something like this, i would not make the mistake of doing it late but if i so managed to do that, i would still enjoy the making of it and the effort put into it. Also an A for effort with these boys and a modest 3 out of 4 stars.

mykrofone

First of all, i dont think i would ever carry around a microphone for a day and ask people questions. I would feel like too much of a an ass. But if for some crazy reason i decided to do that (which now that i think about it that would be kinda funny) i think i would go all out in what i asked people. For a warm-up, i would start be asking people how their day is going. Then as the day progresses, i would ask people what they would do if they knew it was their last day to live. to be continued because i have to work on the script.

tennis

-A little update on how the tennis season in going so far for all those who actually care-
I am happy to say that this season of tennis is going fairly smoothly. Our record as a team up to this point is 4 and 1. That means we have four wins and one loss. My position on the team is on the number one doubles squad. My partner is Mr. Casey Johnson. For us in number one doubles, we got off to a good start with a record of 3 and 0. But the past two matches have spelled trouble for us adding two losses to our record. The first loss came to the duo at Salem High School. I really do not think it could have been closer which only added to the pain of that loss. For those who know tennis, the scores of the sets were 4-6, 6-4, 5-7. Each set was determined by one break in service when all was said and done. Unfortunately, yesterday was a different story as we were quite sufficiently pummeled by Northville high school. This was the first loss to our team as a whole and a beating against Casey and I. We lost that match by scores of 1-6 and 1-6. That quite simply means they took six games in each set to our one. It was not good. But i look forward to today's match as we take on Canton, another tough foe that i hope to take avenge against for the past two losses handed to Casey and I. If i can manage to remember, i will put fourth effort in posting the result of this contest this afternoon.

essay

Endangered Species: The Woodland Caribou

After just recently visiting the wondrous environment of British Columbia, it has not only fascinated me but also opened my awareness that places like British Columbia are thinning around the world. Along with the mountains, abundant trees, and flowing streams is the wildlife. I was fortunate to come across one individual of the wildlife there. It happened to be a woodland Caribou.
The woodland Caribou is a particularly large mammal that stay in small groups and don’t migrate too long of distances. A typical male weighs in at 270 kg and the average female weighs 115 kg. They are found in the western provinces of Canada and also in Ontario along foothills, mountain parks, and eastern slopes

goals and memories

The most simple and obvious goal for myself in the remaining time of this school year and high school all together is to graduate with respectable grades this last semester as i have dug quite a hole for myself as far as grades go. But moreover, i would like to complete this high school experience with fun and a respectable ending despite my previous actions. To me, this is to be made possible by keeping up my efforts in tennis, raising back up my efforts in schoolwork, and maintaining relationships with friends. I believe that the tennis aspect would perhaps be the easiest as i find it easy to keep myself motivated in sport-related activities. What i would like to get out of this i have learned in sports about practice and motivation would be to carry this over to my studies in college and so on in life. That brings me to the next goal of effort level in schoolwork. Now that i think about it, this is pretty crucial in making for a healthy and successful transition into college. Lastly is the friends goal. It is fairly easy to keep ties now as my friends and I are still living close by and going to the same school. But i think that maintaining these ties in the next 4 years and so on will be rather difficult. If i can be somewhat successful in these goals i think that lasting memories of high school will be with me for a long time afterwards.

...

i screwed up. i did. i guess i let my state of that senioritus thing go a little bit too far. scratch that, i am not pawning this off on senioritus it was just a serious lack of judgement. the event was a simple leaving of class before the bell had rung. very dumb. i now realize how selfish that was as i was only considering how lazy i had felt at the time rather than the reprecussions of the act on those of this class. even after ms. eastman had explained only a half hour ago that she was being plagued by disrespect and misbehavior, i still decided to ditch class for a little half hour less of school. stupid. i am not trying to justify this act in any way, but in that determined state of mind to leave school i think that i would have left regardless of the class and/or teacher. i have only now added to the stress of ms. eastman as others do that decide to act out of line. i now have contributed to what caused this precarious classroom environment where strict rules and regulations are now implemented to deter fellow idiots as myself from unacceptable behavior. there are many in this sixth hour that now have to deal with these consequences brought upon them that do not deserve it. what i should do right now is get up in the middle of this class and not only apologize to ms. eastman but also to my fellow classmates for carrying out such behavior. i really should. i wish i could.

spring break

So break is only a few days away. I can't remember ever looking forward to a break this much as i have over this past year. First of all, senior spring break signifies pretty much the end of school as there is only about a month left of school after the break. But that is definately not the only thing spring break is all about. Me and a few of my buddies this year are going to Whistler over break to do some spring skiing. This place is located in west coast Canada in British Columbia right above Vancouver. It can simply be described as the mecca of skiing and snowboarding in North America. This area spread over two mountain peaks has over 8,000 acres of skiing terrain and rises a mile into the sky. In addition to the impeccable skiing, it consistently ranks among the top of all ski resorts as voted by readers of ski magazine as having great night life. That of course played a major role in our decision of choosing this place for spring break. I will post a future blog to let those interested know how the trip went.
