VIDEO REVIEW WITH THE GIRL RUNNING AROUND WITH THE CAPE
In all honesty i found what little i watched of the other videos to be vastly inferior to this one. Even though i also saw very little of this video, i could already tell it was not bad. What stood out to me was the cinematography of this piece. The transitions in between scenes and cuts were well done as well camera position choices. This showed that either these girls spent the necessary amount of time the project actually called for(which was quite hefty), or it could have been the fact that they were proficient in their movie making skills. Along with the transitions was the excellent sound. The music selection may have been questionable but it did flow with the scenes and did not overpower the dialogue. I unfortunately did not see enough to critique the dialogue or the context of it but i did manage to notice that the actresses put fourth much effort in acting and emotion to the script. For the negatives of this piece, the first thing was the shaky lighting of the video. Along with the good camera angles unfortunately came some rough spots in finding good lighting. Much of what i saw had too much shadow to it and i am afraid it cut down some of the scenes. The last bad, which is irrelevant because i could not think of another, was that i was unable to see a suitable amount of this video. The bad in this comes as you read this review and notice the incompleteness of it. This movie gets an A for effort and 3 out of 4 stars.
REVIEW OF THAT MILLENNIUM SHOW
Yes you do see it, i did manage to spell millennium correctly. If not the obnoxious opening scene of four young adults making fools out of themselves, you first notice the complete botching of the word millennium in one individual's most valiant effort in spelling the word. I did have the pleasure of viewing this piece in its entirety and therefore have the capability of writing a sufficient review of it. Like i said, the movie opens with four descent-looking adolescents(back-left seat in particular), that appear to be enjoying themselves in a nice car with blaring music. This scene does a great job in setting the tone for the rest of the movie, which ended up being a stupidly- funny and pretty pointless piece of work. But i do give them credit as they do their best in trying to imitate a show in cable TV these days called That 70's Show. What i did notice in this attempt was the nice swiveling action of the infamous circle scenes. How they did it remains a mystery as does the writing of the script. The dialogue, although quite funny at times, was slightly on the inappropriate side. Despite this, they did manage to keep it at least PG-13, which is, in my opinion, a perfect level if only a high-school audience were watching it. As for the acting, i do believe non-native young man trying his best to follow the role of Horhay(Fez in That 70's Show) stole the show with his natural accent and goofy way of carrying himself. If i had to make an educated guess, i would say he is from Albania. Thumbs up to this guy he did very well, as did the rest of this cast when all was said and done. The video appeared to be a bit rushed and thrown together, but i could tell that these boys had a great time in the making of it and they did put fourth a good amount of effort in the making of it. I know that if i were given the opportunity to do something like this, i would not make the mistake of doing it late but if i so managed to do that, i would still enjoy the making of it and the effort put into it. Also an A for effort with these boys and a modest 3 out of 4 stars.
